In section I, there is great detail of the celebration after
the four sons of the king were born. I think it would be interesting to write a
story from the perspective of a common person witnessing the bands marching
through the streets and living for four weeks when the sun forgot to set.
Rama is exiled and Sita and Lakshmana go with him into the forest. A hermit, Valmiki, tells them to go live on the hil of Chitra-Kuta. There in the woods there is shelter and many different animals that will be your friends and companions.
While in exile Saint Agastya gave Rama the magic bow of the
lord Vishnu, the glittering dart of Brahma and the quiver of Indra that never
lacked arrows. Rama uses these weapons to take down an army of Rakshas. The
dead Rakshas souls went to the place of peace because when a noble prince beat
a foe, his death was thought to be enough.
